A built-in policy engine delivers rule-based control options to better meet building energy performance targets. From the SeriousEnergy dashboard, facilities staff can centrally manage simple issues like correcting errors related to the programmed settings of sensors, controllers and thermostats remotely located throughout a campus or multi-story building. Instructions are enforced via the Building Management System (BMS) gateways upon which SeriousEnergy Manager is deployed. SeriousEnergy Manager adds a supervisory level of intelligence, fine tuning the instructions to the BMS. For example, if the analytics detect that a fan is stuck at 100%, SeriousEnergy Manager can provide supervisory control to the BMS to slow down the fan.
