Hear Claire Broido Johnson at Groom Energy Enterprise Smart Grid Conference, November 2nd in Boston.
Metro region by metro region, the concept of Energy Efficiency-as-a-Service is taking hold among property owners, managers and investors. The Boston area is no exception, and it will be welcoming a small crowd of experts to the Enterprise Smart Grid Conference organized by Groom Energy next week.
The pre-registrant list shows a great sample of leaders from facilities, operations and sustainability. Serious Energy’s Claire Broido Johnson will be participating on a panel which will explore Financing Options for Energy Efficiency Projects, including the shared savings approach whereby owners, property managers and occupants can start enjoying better buildings without waiting to amass the up-front capital required for on-balance-sheet financing.
The session will be moderated by Jon Guerster, CEO of Groom Energy, and will also include Brad Copithorne, Energy & Financial Policy Specialist from the Environmental Defense Fund. Other planned highlights are presentations from retailers and distributors who have implemented energy management systems and from universities and commercial buildings managing energy using BMS, software and submetering. An afternoon session will be offered on how ISO50001 can be applied to help to drive energy savings.
