Corporate Headquarters and R&D Facility

We employ more than 135 people at our corporate headquarters and 90,000 square foot manufacturing and R&D facility at 1250 Elko Drive in Sunnyvale, CA 94089 (800-797-8159). Our green building manufacturing plant produces energy-saving SeriousWindows™ and SeriousGlass™, iWindow, the revolutionary low-cost Commercial Glass Retrofit System, and Quiet® brand products designed to soundproof environments to support sustainable zoning approaches to land use. It's also the US headquarters for SeriousEnergy Manager, a secure web-based platform that integrates with building systems through any gateway device.

Newark, California

Manufacturing QuietRock® soundproof drywall and solutions

The rail loading facility and 12 acre plant in Newark, CA is dedicated to producing QuietRock soundproof drywall and accessory products that reduce material use, enhance livability, and support dense sustainable urban construction.

Boulder, Colorado

Manufacturing SeriousWindows and SeriousGlass

The 36,955 square foot manufacturing plant produces super-insulating windows and commercial glass, SeriousWindows and SeriousGlass. This is in addition to Serious Energy’s existing 15,000 square feet of space also located in Boulder, formerly Alpen Windows, Inc., which has been producing leading energy-saving glass for more than 27 years.

Vandergrift, Pennsylvania

Manufacturing SeriousWindows and SeriousGlass

In January 2009, we acquired the assets of Kensington Windows, based in Vandergrift, PA. Kensington employed more than 150 people when they were forced to shut down all operations in October 2008.

Two weeks after the acquisition, the 100,000 square foot manufacturing facility had begun producing SeriousWindows and SeriousGlass with newly installed equipment. A growing number of former Kensington employees have been reemployed. At full production, we expect to create at least 120 green jobs based in Vandergrift.

Chicago, Illinois

Manufacturing SeriousWindows, SeriousGlass, and iWindow

We acquired assets of the former Republic Windows and Doors in March 2009. The 268,000 square foot plant is based in Chicago, Illinois.

The International office of SeriousEnergy, providers of SeriousEnergy Manager, a secure web-based platform that integrates with building systems through any gateway device.
